Typography

The typography of a Magazine is the colour and font of the text that is in the Magazine, the colours and font that are used in the magazine represent the genre of the Magazine and what it contains inside t e.g Kerrang has a smashed effect in the title because the genre is rock which is loud music. The main colours that are used in a titles are Red/pink and white. Each of these are colours that are on the Magazines stand out from the back ground and the main image. The colours and the main image attract the reader so that they look at the magazine so it is important to make the text and image to stand out. In the examples of Magazines covers above reds, pinks and whites used in the masthead and other important text that stand out.

In my magazine i will use lots of reds, yellows and whites for the text to makes sure it stands out from the image and background.
